Stephanie Gaskell is an academic (PhD), and Accredited Sports Dietitian (Advanced), in the Department of Nutrition Dietetics & Food at Monash University, Australia. Her research to date includes a focus on the impact of endurance exercise (with and without heat-stress) on gastrointestinal health (i.e. integrity and function) including prevention and management strategies. She has consulted to a variety of athletes from complete beginners through to professional and Olympic athletes with a special interest in endurance and ultra-endurance sports. Steph has contributed to a number of clinical texts for sports nutrition, developed recipe books, contributed to sports magazines, television and radio interviews, podcasts, been an invited speaker to national and international conferences and published a number of scientific papers. Steph has competed at national level in ultra endurance trail running. She also co-developed a podcast, Fueling Endurance, a nutrition podcast for runners, cyclists and triathletes.
